What do we do?
RetirementWorks provides independent, unbiased retirement financial education and governance consulting services to pension plan sponsors and members.
Our Retirement Education initiatives aim to enhance retirement readiness for those approaching retirement by focusing on lifestyle transition planning, savings and decumulation strategies. Our Financial Education initiatives are geared towards a younger audience who need to balance saving for retirement with other financial priorities. We deliver practical and factual information, rather than advice.
Our governance consulting services aim to improve plan sponsors’ governance practices by providing independent audits of pension, benefit and member education programs; assistance with tender process for selection of advisors and set up and benchmarking of governance structures and practices. We put our deep expertise as actuaries and consultants into use to deliver the desired outcomes for our clients and their workforce.
“ When we set out on a search for actuarial services for the IWA - Forest Industry Long Term Disability Plan, we looked for an independent, unbiased partner to help us with the tender process. We retained RetirementWorks as our advisor. Their objectivity, knowledge of the market and actuarial skills enabled us to complete the search effectively in a short time frame. We are pleased with Bita’s work and do not hesitate to recommend her services.”
